As part of the 125 Live fortnight of exhibitions, talks and events, Screen Social is hosting a special one-off evening of film, music & drinks/chat focusing on ‘Film In Fashion’ on Wednesday 24th September at the Londonewcastle gallery space.
This week Screen Social welcomes the brilliantly creative, talented and award-winning guys from Ithaca Audio for a special Music Vs Film Vs Tech edition. As if that wasn’t enough, we’ll also be treated to a live set from Morgan Hislop (his other job is as the drummer for Tropics) who’ll be bringing his unique broken-beat electronica to The Book Club.
There will also be the usual screenings of great shorts and music videos with a tech edge from independent directors who will be on hand for a beer and a chat.
COMPULSORY Viewing This month Screen Social invites award-winning London-based production company COMPULSORY to take centre stage for an evening of music videos, shorts & more. There’ll also be an eclectic set from KissFM’s Charlie T as well as a live set from none other than CLOUD BOAT & MY PANDA SHALL FLY, who will be bringing the latest in their electronically fuelled hybrid of downcast Dubstep and melancholy folk. STUDENT FILM SPECIAL This month, to tie-in with our Student Film In Transit competition, April’s Screen Social showers us with some of the best student-created music videos, shorts and animations from across the student-sphere.
