The very first Van d’Or Awards held on August 11th was a great success. With newest Cannes-in-a-Vanner Adam Hollingworth presenting proceedings, the evening was packed with one-liners, cheeky banter and top quality independent movies.
Our heart-felt congratulations go to the winners and of course all the nominees, without whom there would be no films, no Cannes in a Van and no awards!
Thank you to our sponsors for the evening… MovieScope magazine who offered subscription and editing software packages to multiple winners… and Giles Consulting, who sponsored the Best Direction award with a cash prize of £250!
Thanks also to everyone who helped in the organisation, judging and presenting awards, especially Cannes-in-a-Vanners Hannah, Adam, Matt, John, Janus, Si and loads of others too!
