As part of the 125 Live fortnight of exhibitions, talks and events, Screen Social is hosting a special one-off evening of film, music & drinks/chat focusing on ‘Film In Fashion’ on Wednesday 24th September at the Londonewcastle gallery space.
From Warhol to Antonioni, Avedon to Bailey, Corbijn to Knight, fashion has been at the heart of some of the most experimental, groundbreaking and entertaining film content. This is a celebration of film-conscious fashion, screening seminal celluloid moments alongside contemporary work from a wide spectrum of creators.
As part of the marvellous 125LIVE exhibition, this special event will focus on fashion films shot by photographers and directors, classic movies à la mode and we’ll be chatting to guest speakers including former Esquire Fashion Editor Gareth Scourfield and Editor of fashion and culture magazine PHOENIX, Hannah Kane about their seminal celluloid fashion moments.
As usual, this Screen Social will be supporting housing & homelessness charity Shelter, with a special prize raffle on the night.
If you like film, photography, wear clothes, like a drink and a chinwag… then where else would you need to be on Sept 24th?
