A record turn out
for Screen Social

Screen Social

Our Farewell to Fujifilm Shorts Screen Social on Wednesday 9th January was packed out with award-winning and nominated directors, producers and cinematographers including Gavin Humphries, producer of the newly BAFTA nominated The Curse.

Our biggest-ever crowd rocked up to The Book Club for our contribution to the London Short Film Festival to watch some incredibly powerful, moving, funny, arty and shocking shorts, which won or were nominated for the Fujifilm Shorts competition over the last 4 years. Among them was The Curse, nominated that same morning for a BAFTA. An engaged crowd watched the filmmakers introducing their films while we held things together with gaffer tape and blind faith. Our 4-screen simultaneous cinema lit up the audience, while the booming sound system delivered a powerful soundtrack.

The next Screen Social is Wednesday 13th February. It’s a music video fest hosted by Bullion.
