Cannes in a Van Film Festival 2013: blog 4

Insidious black clouds began to crawl over the hills of Mandeleiu and the rain grew fiercer. Instead of hiding away with our tails between our legs in the safety of our prefab home, we decided to brave the Croisette with True Brit spirit.

Cannes in a Van Film Festival 2013: blog 3

Day 3 The sun is out! We are well and truly soaking up the vitamin D and warming our feathers. We woke waking up feeling positive albeit with a muzzled head from the wine we’d been drinking the night before. The rain wasn’t beating down and flooding the campsite for a change. We managed to pull ourselves from our beds and begin the busy work day. Andy had some pressing work to do and more cables to buy for the [...]

This is the first we’ve seen of our brand new Ford Transit Custom, now coated in our trademark signal yellow with orange trim. Although lower than usual (the high-roof isn’t in production just yet), we’ve prepared a special height-gaining add-on and our lo-fi projection system has been replaced with something a little more high-tech. We’re now itching to get the show on the road for 2013 [...]

    We’re making changes

Please bear with us while we make improvements to the CIAV website. The plan for 2013 is to focus much more on the films and the people behind them, so please look around and enjoy the view… then come back and visit again. It’ll take some time to get things ship-shape so thanks for waiting!
